David (DZ) was born to Rev. Allan Boyer and Dolores Boyer in Plainfield New Jersey, an urban community that had its challenges. In early 2004 due to drinking & driving, he crashed his car. It was this accident that nearly cost him his life along with a series of prior events that led to DZ’s powerful encounter with God. It was then that he embraced the true love of Christ. In 2006 DZ was called to preach the Gospel. God also restored his gift of music, enabling him to spit rhymes to the glory of God. He is now a licensed Minister, the CEO of “Jesus Peace Music” and the first artist off his own label; he uses his talent and his passion to preach the liberating Gospel of Jesus Christ thru Hip-Hop music. “We live in a hip hop age and traditional evangelism has not been effective with reaching this generation.” DZ says “I am not here to entertain, I am here to tell the “truth”, and that truth is: Christ lives and He is coming again. I speak the Word in a language this generation understands.” Divine -heavenly, celestial, godly. Zeal- eagerness, enthusiasm, passion. These are words you’ll find to be a mild but accurate description DZ (Divine Zeal) Although DZ grew up in the church, he still decided to give into the temptations of the streets which lead him into the Thug lifestyle. This downward spiral of destruction took him through the entrapment of drug use, drug dealing and being arrested for weapon possession. He was faced the possibility of 12 years in prison but it was by the grace of God, that he only received 3 years probation. However, he still didn’t learn.
